For one weekend only, from Friday 15 August to Sunday 17 August 2025, the Travelling Film Festival (TFF) brings the best of the Sydney Film Festival to Orange. Hosted at Odeon 5 Cinemas, this special edition offers nine highly acclaimed films - handpicked to captivate, provoke, and inspire.
Founded by the celebrated David Stratton in 1974, TFF is Australia’s longest-running travelling film festival, dedicated to delivering quality Australian and international cinema to regional communities across NSW, Queensland, and the Northern Territory.
Friday, 15 August
DJ Ahmet (7pm) - A heartwarming Sundance Audience Award-winner about a 15-year-old from North Macedonia discovering dance and first love.
Saturday, 16 August
The President’s Cake (10:30am) - A touching Cannes Caméra d’Or debut from Iraq.
